Jennifer's Sweet 16 | New York's Cinderella

My sweet, sweet Jennifer. How I miss this girl and her awesome court! I had so much fun with her and her family. When the day finally came to celebrate Jennifer and all her accomplishments,  it was bitter sweet. I miss them dearly! I couldn't ask for a more fun loving group! Congratulations Jennifer, you deserve the world!

I met Jennifer through two of her court members whom I had already been working with for another party. She knew exactly what she wanted; from the color of her nails, to the song she would dance to with her court. LOVED IT. We had weekly rehearsals which were long, tiring and consisted of a little bit of drama which is always exciting. We practiced the traditional, "Tiempo De Vals" and a little a merengue called "La Negra Tiene Swing". Fitting I know. Please YouTube these songs if you haven't heard of them. Not only are they the traditional Quince/Sweet 16 songs, but they fit perfectly with this birthday girl and her family.
I was even honored with one of her 16 candles, which is a huge honor and I am eternally grateful and humbled for the gift. Another awesome fact about this birthday girl...she's graduating high school a year early! She's that smart!

Congratulations Jennifer! You deserve every happiness and will always hold a special place in my heart.
